An M&E course at decentralised level in Guatemala
In the framework of the implementation of the NIPN project in Guatemala, two pilot departments have been identified to target NIPN activities at the sub-national level. On October 15th, the first theoretical and practical course on the monitoring and evaluation of Municipal Public Policies for Food and Nutrition Security has started in Momostenango, a Municipality of the pilot department of Totonicapán. The course is organised within the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Sub-Commission of the Municipal Commission of Food and Nutritional Security, Childhood and Adolescence. At the end of the course, the Sub-Commission will present the monitoring report of the Municipal Food and Nutritional Security Policy that will support future decisions.
