The NIPN Global Support Facility has recently published reviews of the nutrition policy-making process in three countries: Bangladesh, Niger and Uganda. These analyses aimed to identify the factors that influence policy-making for nutrition and the sources and use of evidence by policy makers to help formulate those policies. Based on a combination of desk reviews, content analysis and key informant interviews, these reviews provide a synopsis of the process by which national nutrition policies have been developed in these three countries and provide useful insights that will help national platforms with their work.
