Implementing decentralised information platforms in Guatemala

This case study describes and reflects on the process of establishing an information platform for food and nutrition security at local level in Momostenango, Guatemala. Internationally there is increasing interest in understanding how decentralised public administrations and other stakeholders can engage in and make use of data and information for better nutrition results. Decentralised information platforms for nutrition are still rare and the Momostenango platform, which resulted in establishment of six more local information platforms for nutrition, is one of few one of few examples that can be studied in detail.
