NIPNs from Guatemala and Niger present at the Micronutrient Forum 2020

In a virtual session called ‘Better nutrition policy through better use of data’, Guatemala’s Secretary of the High Authority for Food and Nutrition Security discussed progress of implementing the multisectoral information platform at decentralized level, while the NIPN Coordinator from Niger’s National Bureau of Statistics presented the results from the nutrition multisectoral analysis, and discussed how findings have been used to elaborate the national government road map for nutrition. How data can support decision making in food fortification policies and programmes was presented by the Food Fortification Advisory Service (2FAS). This virtual session was co-organized by the C4N-NIPN global support and 2FAS, supported by European Union.
