    1st NIPN Global Gathering

    This three-day Global Gathering of the National Information Platforms for Nutrition (NIPN), on July 3-5 2018 in Paris, allowed all the 60+ participants from the 10 participating countries to feel part of a whole, created a common understanding of NIPN, enabled discussion of technical matters, implementation needs, opportunities and bottlenecks, and encouraged collaboration and sharing across countries.     Official NIPN launch in Ethiopia

    On May 31th, 2018, Ato Birara, the head of the Nutrition Case Team and representative of the State Minister of Health, officially launched the National Information Platform for Nutrition (NIPN) in Ethiopia. By establishing the NIPN, Ethiopia has expressed again its commitment to accelerate progress toward ending malnutrition.

    The second meeting of the NIPN Expert Advisory Group (EAG) was held in Brussels on March 21st, a day after the members of the EAG had participated in a nutrition seminar organized by the European Union for delegates from EU delegations and their partners. More.

    Official NIPN launch in Uganda

    On March 15th the National Information Platform for Nutrition Uganda was launched during the Second Uganda National Nutrition Forum. “I hope that through the National Information Platform for Nutrition, we will start looking at nutrition differently and in an innovative way” said EU Ambassador Attilio Pacifici.
