On March 15th the National Information Platform for Nutrition Uganda was launched during the Second Uganda National Nutrition Forum. “I hope that through the National Information Platform for Nutrition, we will start looking at nutrition differently and in an innovative way” said EU Ambassador Attilio Pacifici.

It reveals that, though a large body of information related to the nutritional status of the Ugandan population is available, it may not necessarily meet the needs for information of decision makers or be easily accessible. NIPN was involved in the organisation and participation in a parallel session on ’nutrition data revolution’ during the SUN Global Gathering held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, in November 2017. Laos and Niger shared there experience in relation to the NIPN. More.
