A one-day capacity building workshop on the NIPN operational cycle was organised by the GSF for the NIPN team of Guatemala on May 17, 2019 in Amsterdam, ahead of the NIPN Global Gathering.
The National Information Platform for Nutrition was officially launched in Bangladesh on April 23 by the Ministry of Food and the European Union, together with four nutrition governance initiatives of the Government of Bangladesh supported by the European Union. The inauguration took place during the National Nutrition Week in Bangladesh.
The NIPN in Guatemala has published a report that analyzes – on the basis of quantitative data already available and qualitative inputs – Guatemala’s progress in reducing chronic malnutrition against the evolution of the different multisectoral nutrition strategies, during the last decade. More.
The third NIPN operational capacity building workshop was organised by the GSF on April 3-5 in Vientiane, Lao PDR, gathering more than 30 stakeholders from national institutions hosting the NIPN (Centre for Policy Development Research, National Institute for Economic Research, Lao Bureau of Statistics), ministries (of Planning, Health, Agriculture & Forestry, Education & Sports) and from UNICEF.
