The NIPN in Guatemala has published a report that analyzes – on the basis of quantitative data already available and qualitative inputs – Guatemala’s progress in reducing chronic malnutrition against the evolution of the different multisectoral nutrition strategies, during the last decade. More.

The third NIPN operational capacity building workshop was organised by the GSF on April 3-5 in Vientiane, Lao PDR, gathering more than 30 stakeholders from national institutions hosting the NIPN (Centre for Policy Development Research, National Institute for Economic Research, Lao Bureau of Statistics), ministries (of Planning, Health, Agriculture & Forestry, Education & Sports) and from UNICEF.

The second capacity building workshop on the implementation of the NIPN operational cycle was organized by the Global Support Facility (GSF) from February 27 to March 1, 2019 in Grand Bassam, Côte d’Ivoire. 30 stakeholders from the NIPN Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Niger teams attended the workshop.

The first capacity building workshop on the implementation of the NIPN operational cycle was organized by the Global Support Facility (GSF) from January 30 to February 1, 2019 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. 22 stakeholders from the NIPN Ethiopia team within EPHI and their partners (IFPRI, EIAR, EU, Ministries of Health and Agriculture, etc.) attended the workshop.

NIPN organised a successful side-event during the IFPRI-FAO conference on “Accelerating the End of Hunger and Malnutrition” in Bangkok, attended by about 100 participants. NIPN representatvies from Ethiopia and Lao PDR were part of the discussion panel. More.
