The NIPN data visualization tools (DVT) review presents a comparative analysis of the experiences of NIPN countries in developing and managing DVT to enhance the communication of nutrition data for policy-making. In 2023, the NIPN Contribution Study conducted by N4D recommended to capture NIPN’s valuable and diverse experiences developing and managing DVT. Conducted in 2025 by NIPN Global Coordination, the DVT review builds on this recommendation to document NIPN’s diverse processes. Drawing on existing documentation and interviews with DVT designers and users across multiple countries, the report examines the objectives, methodologies, and approaches adopted by each platform, offering a valuable resource for future implementation.
